my history, training, experience

I spent my early childhood and early adolescent years in Rostov on the Don, a historic rich city in the South of Russia, where I received my primary schooling and a love of Russian art and music.  Coming from a long tradition of music lovers, I was greatly influenced by my grandmother, for whom I was named, and who also was renown and much sought-after music teacher in the city.

When I turned sixteen, my family moved to Moscow, where my mother pursued her profession as a musicologist, and I pursued the many opportunities that a great metropolis offered to a young student. There I received my Bachelor of Musical Arts from The Ippolitov-Ivanov Moscow College of Music. Finishing studies on the piano were completed at The University of Arts in Ukraine, where I received my MA in music.

my goal with my students

My goal as a teacher is to open up my students’ talents by introducing them to different styles of music, help them to appreciate its variety and develop their personal techniques and performance styles.

My intent is to have all of my students speak that wonderful language of music and to have them grow richer as individuals through joy, and cultural fulfillment.
